Ok so you spend time creating really cool content on The8App but you struggle to get any real traction.
This is your HowTo8App guide to getting your 8App posts seen
Your 8App Posts
As mentioned on many a HowTo8App post, your content must add value. Ask questions within your content. Give your opinion, encourage comments. You really are looking for a response. Use cool pictures to attract members. And use relevant hashtags to help you get found.
Make sure that your post title and post body has keywords to help you get discovered. For example, recently I created an article on Infobunny about The Instagram Followers Game. The game where members just constantly follow and unfollow to try to boost their own followers with follow backs. The post I then created on The8App had the text Instagram Following Game within the post. The idea being that you add text that might be searched for on Google. You can see the finished post belo
Time To Get Busy Sharing Your 8App Posts
Once you have made your post you need to get busy within The8App. The first thing to do is make a comment on your new post and mention a few of your friends and followers who you know won’t mind you tagging them. If you have read my HowTo8App article on Social Engagement – Understanding Likes Comments and Shares then you know exactly why we mention a few key members. It is really just to give you a start on what you create.
Next share your content. The8App offers Twitter, Facebook and Google Plus integration on the desktop version. But if you are running on the app then you can pretty much share to any social site or platform who’s app you have installed on your mobile device.
If you are using the desktop version then don’t just use the built-in social sharing options. Use a browser that you can add share buttons to so that you can share far beyond what The8App offers. Every site you are seen on links directly back to your post 😉
If you really, really want to be seen then you can delve even deeper and share your shares. So, for example, share your content to Facebook, Twitter and Google and then go to those shares and share those again on different platforms. When you do this you are giving yourself 2 levels of social backlinking. This is a method of creating authority that SEO specialists use.
They create banks of sites and link down through them making each level more important. “Wow all these sites are linking through, this site they point to must be good let’s give it good rank”, that’s what Google thinks.
The steps above can be used for any content or site that you want to push out more. I do this on a daily basis and it brings results.
Hope you have found this article useful and have a few more ideas on how to get your 8App posts seen. See you on The8App
